Light and temperature insulation
For use under extreme conditions, various shelters/tents can be provided with "all weather insulation". This reduces the cooling or heating of the tent considerably and makes these shelters extremely suitable for military use.
The military variants in the colours OD-green and Tan (desert) are equipped with a black out coating. This prevents light from penetrating the fabric and makes the tents also suitable for use under tactical conditions.
