HAZMEDS provides a comprehensive range of personal protective equipment designed for use by emergency responders to collect, stabilise, decontaminate and treat infected victims across the CBRN segment. Safety plays the biggest role in this. But in addition, aspects such as wearing comfort and the ability to carry out work well are very important.
We will gladly advise you on a "tailor made" solution.
At present, protective equipment with the so-called PAPR principle is the most commonly used in the capture, stabilisation, decontamination and treatment of contaminated victims. A PAPR is a battery-powered blower that feeds a positive airflow through a filter, cartridge, or canister to the inside of the protective suit or headgear.
The helper therefore does not need to wear a customised mask tightly on the face and can also wear his or her own glasses under the protective clothing. The constant airflow blowing around the head of the wearer provides pleasant ventilation. This allows the wearer to work safely and comfortably under protection for long periods of time, even at higher ambient temperatures.
We supply PAPR blower-units of various brands (e.g. Scott/3M and Clean AIR) and we offer the suits of various brands in different protection classes. Besides PAPR equipment, we also supply half and full face masks by Moldex, CBRN coveralls, gloves, glove attachment systems and boots. And also communication equipment that can be used when wearing PAPR equipment/suits.
Despite its compact design and low weight, Chemical 2F is characterised by excellent durability, chemical resistance and increased protection against liquid ingress. The thoughtful design with a smooth surface allows for easy disinfection with a shower or full immersion. The unique automatic locking system prevents unwanted contamination during filter changes. The smart Flow Control system keeps the airflow at a constant level, regardless of a clogged filter or low battery voltage. Audible alarm signals when the battery needs to be recharged and/or the filter needs to be changed. Adjustable airflow from 120 to 235 l/min is available throughout the service thanks to the optional Heavy Duty battery.
The colour display clearly shows all relevant information - air flow, battery voltage, filter condition.
The unique automatic closing system prevents unwanted contamination during filter change.
The battery with increased capacity doubles the operating time. It is no longer necessary to change or recharge the battery during a long shift, even when using gas and combination filters.
Ventilated suits with filtered air (powered by CleanAIR® Chemical 2F) and MICROGARD® / MICROCHEM® technology provide respiratory, face and body protection against various hazardous substances, including solid and liquid aerosols, asbestos, paint, oil, grease, viruses and blood-borne pathogens.
You can choose between the standard battery, the heavy-duty battery or the non-rechargeable primary battery. In addition to the standard charger, power adaptors are available for use in the car or at a wall socket as an alternative power source. Power Adaptors Power supply unit 230 V / 24 V for the socket 51 00 15.1 Power supply unit 12 V - 24 V - vehicle socket 51 00 15.2
Non-rechargeable single-use battery with a guaranteed storage time of 10 years. The battery is always ready for use without recharging. The perfect choice for emergency teams, first responders or those who only need the breathing system in case of an emergency.
Features & Benefits
The sophisticated design with a smooth surface allows for easy disinfection under a shower or even complete immersion.
